It all started under the banner of 'Redhill Chelsea' although when I started
going to Chelsea I lived in Reigate! But Redhill was where I was living
when the flag was obtained and the starting point for the days
proceedings! This was the days before the idea of getting your own
enamel badges made and selling them on to mates and via eBay on the
internet, blimey this was before mobile 'phones.
The flag was acquired one late Friday night....can't say how but it certainly
wasn't not late night shopping!!
It wasn't me officer it was Kevin and Trevor  (photographic evidence will
be listed soon)

As the years progressed I moved to Crawley, hence the badge and other
items, haven't got around to updating the flag yet but having said that
don't think I ever will....too many memories.
Some of the Crawley Blues trying to blend into the local surroundings and not look like
travelling football fans...even though it was only Wembley! (Smiles were soon to disappear as
the infamous  Gavin Peacocks shot off the crossbar left us thinking 'what if?' as we ended up
on the end of a 4 nil thrashing...helped by a certain Mr Ellery)
For some the first major Wembley
final in years was just too much
and the excitement went to their
head...along with a large amount of
blue and white face paint!
